Everything Swifties need to know before travelling to watch the Eras Tour at Wembley Park - Merchandise stand openings, queue tips and how to get there
Global superstar Taylor Swift will be wowing audiences at Wembley Park when The Eras Tour returns to London this summer.
The international icon will be returning to Wembley Stadium on August 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th after her hugely succesful dates in July.
Joining Taylor Swift beneath the world-famous arch will be American rock band Paramore and a host of other artists including Brit winner Raye.
Here’s everything you need to know to get the best out of Wembley Park when visiting to see Taylor Swift this summer.
Getting to Wembley Park
Wembley Park station
Wembley Park makes everything easy when it comes to getting there – as you might expect from a destination that has been hosting events since 1894.
Just 12 minutes from Central London, Wembley Park is served by three London Underground lines (Jubilee, Metropolitan and Bakerloo), mainline rail (Chiltern Railways and Southern Railways), the London Overground and numerous bus routes meaning visitors can travel however suits them best. Wembley Stadium is an eight-minute walk from Wembley Stadium station, a 10-minute walk from Wembley Park tube station and a 22-minute walk from Wembley Central tube station.
Secure car parking for 3,000 cars is also available on-site, with 39 electric vehicle chargers located within Pink Parking. Pre-booking is advisable on event days.
How to beat the queues
Wembley Park can get very busy on event days, with over 100,000 additional visitors flocking to the area. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to beat the queues.
Arriving early is the top tip. Wembley Park is so packed with things to do that it’s easy to make a day of it and enjoy a wide range of experiences in the neighbourhood. From the Wembley Park Art Trail to Union Park, there’s plenty to enjoy for free before Taylor Swift takes to the stage.
Planning your journey in advance can also help. Be sure to arrive at the Stadium at least 60 to 90 minutes before the start time of the concert. That will give you plenty of time to get into the Stadium, get something to eat or drink, hit the merchandise stores, find your seat and soak up the buzzing atmosphere. If you’ve got floor tickets, bear in mind that the earlier you arrive, the closer to the stage you should be able to get.
Wembley Stadium hasn’t confirmed what time the doors will open, but official ticket reseller AXS states that it will be 5 pm. With two supporting acts and dozens of Taylor Swift songs to enjoy, be prepared for a late night – the concert could finish at about 11 pm or even later.
When the concert is finished, you can avoid the queues by waiting in your seat for 10-15 minutes, chatting about the amazing performance you’ve just seen. That should provide time for the bulk of the crowds to disperse.
Top tips for enjoying the show
With so many smash hits to perform, the Eras Tour show lasts for well over three hours. Comfortable shoes are therefore a must. Take several layers of clothing, too, so you can warm up and cool down as needed and apply sun cream. If you’ve gone paperless and your tickets are on your phone, be sure to bring a charging block with you.
Official Merch Stands
Swifties attending Taylor’s Wembley Stadium concerts can purchase official merchandise at four stands located on Olympic Way and in the massive store located the ground floor of the Green Parking (find a map here). No event ticket is needed to visit these stores, which will be open throughout the concerts. Any items purchased will be sealed in clear plastic bags so you can take them into the Stadium.
Using Your Smartphone
When attending events at Wembley Stadium, be aware that mobile phone coverage can be hit and miss due to the high concentration of people trying to access the network simultaneously. Some providers may experience connectivity issues or even complete loss of service. To ensure you can still use your smartphone during your visit, we recommend taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi provided by Wembley Park. Just connect to the #WembleyParkFreeWifi network, sign up and you’re set. The service is available in many of the core areas of Wembley Park, including Olympic Way.
As with any concert, it’s also worth checking out the set list in advance, to try and time your toilet break(s) so that you don’t miss your favourite song!
Seating chart
As Taylor gets set to take to the stage, check what view your seat will provide you with. The capacity at the huge venue is a whopping 90,000. The sell-out crowd will mean it's one of the biggest venues on the Eras Tour across the world. It’s no surprise that Taylor Swift enjoys a cheeky doner kebab, with her filming her End Game music video in a local kebab shop and ahead of her London shows she ordered a whopping £450 worth of doner kebabs for her team in June. viagogo and resale tickets
Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation - to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

Where to eat & drink?
There are plenty of choices for eating and drinking at Wembley Park. From edible works of dessert art at Haute Dolci to irresistible carb-feasts at Bread Ahead, modern Italian flavours at Pasta Remoli and a home-from-home experience at Estadio Lounge. Most recently, burger lovers’ favourite Five Guys, super salad joint Choppaluna and Asian-inspired Itsu have joined the Wembley Park lineup, while London Designer Outlet is also home to family favourites, including Nando’s, Las Iguanas, TGI Friday’s and Wagamama.
For a chic dining experience, Masalchi serves up fragrant Indian dishes under the watchful eye of twice Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar, while The Association at the Hilton London Wembley delivers a modern British fine dining experience. The White Horse, meanwhile, is the perfect spot for a pre-concert drink.
