Our strongest machines are built with the industry's leading commercial-grade engines. Introducing the VANGUARD 570cc and the VANGUARD 627cc air-cooled engines. These engines have higher torque and increased speed and are built to withstand constant usage and harsh environments.

American SportWorks, the parent company of LandMaster UTV, designs and manufactures all engines used in their UTVs. Since 1959, American Landmaster has built and distributed American-made off-road vehicles from Fort Wayne with Manco to its now recently consolidated state-of-the-art facility-in Columbia City, Indiana.

AMERICAN MADE

Landmaster UTVs are built from the ground up in Columbia City, Indiana. They start with raw steel made in the USA, then fabricate, bend, weld, podwer-coat, assemble, and test every UTV.

In 2005, it was purchased by a collector in Sacramento, California, and restored to a similar (but not exact) condition as it was for filming. After making an occasional local car show appearances, the Landmaster was vandalized while in storage, and then sold to legendary automobile customizer Gene Winfield.

Besides informing our customers that Polaris uses the highest quality engines, we always explain that most of their off-road vehicles have a ProStar engine. ProStar is known for its reliability, durability, and high performance. If well maintained, ProStar engines might last up to 20,000 miles.
